Ugly Sweater Christmas Party
Brian and I hosted Hailey's staff christmas party at our house again this year. We decided to make it fun and interesting and make it an ugly sweater Christmas party. Several teachers came, and some with their husbands which made Brian happy. The guys of course went upstairs and played pool and watched the fight. The girls mingled, danced, and ate some delicious goodies. Pasha was the hit of the party and everyone loved holding her and she loved all of the attention as well!

Light the Night Walk
It was such a heart warming experience to do the Light the Night Walk in The Woodlands for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Our group was Peter's Fight. Peter is this adorable little 7 year old boy who attends our school at Hailey. A lot of teachers went to support him. I was one of the top three fundraisers for Peter's Fight, and thank you to those who helped me and donated.

We're off to see the Wizard... the wonderful Wizard of Oz!!!
Where's Waldo???
What a wonderful time of year! I always look forward to the fall because the weather is beautiful and all of the fall festivities begin! The first fall festivity begining with Halloween. Earlier this week our Halloween LRC group met. My sister-in-law, Sarah, and I went as Where's Waldo and Waldo's girlfriend. Unfortunately, we didn't have any luck and we didn't win and money.
Then this Saturday Jennifer and Bob threw their annual Halloween party, which is always a hit!!! From jello shots, to a bartender, a dj, a video booth, who could not have a wonderful time? I went as Dorothy, Brian was the lion, and the rest of the neighbor crew went as a part of OZ. We had a scarecrow, tin man, flying monkey, wicked witch of the east, and the wicked witch of the west. We had sooooooooo much fun and their were so many GREAT costumes!

Ten for Texas run
What a gorgeous day to run a ten mile race/run!!!! I really wish I had trained a little more for this ten mile run. I wasn't tired AT ALL, and I wish I had picked up my pace and I had a faster chip time. But oh well, now I know what to do for the next run.I had some super sweet visitors a long the way. Brian, Cherry, and Pasha met me at mile four and seven. Pasha jumped out of Brian's lap and ran onto the course when she saw me. It was too funny! Then at mile 6, some teacher friends came to cheer us on. They had written sweet motivating messages along the way in sidewalk chalk. All in all it was good race and I finished in 1 hour and 38 minutes.

Happy 30th Birthday Kyle!
A fun day back in Sugar Land! It was Kyle's 30th birthday celebration and what a better way for him to celebrate, than to go to a sports bar and watch the UT/OU game. Unfortunately, Texas lost, but we still had a great time hanging out with friends! And to top it off we got to finish our night at our favorite sushi restaurant, Japs.

Cleveland, Ohio
What a great trip!!! The weather was perfect, our friends were so hospitable, and we finally got to see Ryan play!! Our quick trip to Ohio was a blast. We got in late Friday night, and Nicole gave a tour of their beautiful house and then we went and hung out in the basement for a while to catch up. On Saturday morning we decided to go for a four mile run. The weather was crisp and cool, I wish Texas would hurry up and get to fall. After our run we went and got ready for the day and we went to see Lake Erie, which looked like an ocean. We also got to go to Crocker Park and shop at H&M and see other parts of Cleveland. That evening we went out to eat at Farenheit and had an absolutely mouth watering delicious meal. After our tasty meal we had to drop Ryan off at the hotel and then we went to a wine bar. The next day we woke up and started to get ready for game day. We were all in our Cleveland Browns attire and we headed to the game. The game was fun, but unfortunately they lost. We headed home for a fun fiesta night with margaritas, fajitas, guacamole, and salsa. We had a fabulous time and we had so much fun bonding with Avery. She is the cutest little thing and she LOVES BerBer and Bri.
Unfortuntaley, all good things come to an end, but we are looking forward to our next trip up to Ohio.

Southern Star- Beer Brewery
Black Lab puppy found....
Brian found the cutest little black lab puppy on the side of the road and brought her home. She was about 6 weeks old and I named her Bella. Unfortunately, we aren't quite ready for a puppy right now. So lukcily, some friends of ours took her and she is in a happy home.
By the way- I looked to see if there was a missing puppy, and no luck.
Another fun LRC event!
Our birthday!!!! :)

NYC 2010
The three Amigas! :)
Nicole, why do you have to lean on me every time we take a picture? haha
What a great trip back to New York. I can't believe Brian and I met there three years ago. Now we are going on our second wedding anniversary. Crazy!! It was a fantastic trip getting to celebrate Danielle's 30th birthday. I have to say the only positive thing that came from The Bachelor were three great friends, Danielle, Nicole, and Stephanie(sorry you missed this one Steph.) We really do have a great time together.
Every time I go to NYC I always see something different and of course always try a new restaurant out. We had busy plans Friday going to Ellis Island and seeing the Statue of Liberty. Then we went to China town and ate some delicious pork rolls (which I was hesitant to eat at first,) but boy were they yummy. Then we headed to little Italy for some scrumptious dessert. After a long day we headed home to get ready for Danielle's 30th birthday bash. We all had to wear black or white and she wore pink- it looked really cute. Since it was an open bar, let's just say we all consumed a little more than usual. At about 1am we then headed to 230 on 5th avenue, which is a roof top bar where you have a perfect view of the Empire state building lit up. We headed home around four and got to bed around 5am.
Saturday morning we slept in of course then finally woke up around ten to get our day started. We went to Shake Shack for lunch, (which is a famous burger joint that you literally have to wait in line for an hour for) but WELL WORTH IT!!! Then we did a lot more touristy things like Wall Street, Ground Zero, Soho shopping, and the Pier etc. After another exhausting day we got ready to go out and celebrate Brian's 27th birthday. We went to Mercer Kitchen where Brian's sister and boyfriend surprised him. We ate a delicious dinner, Crumbs cupcakes, then went to Time Square to see the beautiful lit up streets. After being a total tourist we went to High Bar to celebrate. After another long night we had to do it up right a get some pizza and eat it on Joe's roof top deck at three in the morning.
On our last day in New York we went and ate a delicious breakfast at Sara Beth's in Central Park, then took a nice 30 minute stroll until we had to head back and pack and be on our way to the airport.
***What a great reunion and thanks Danielle and Joe for letting us stay with you guys.
***Happy Birthday Danielle!
***And Danielle and Nic I can't wait for our next reunion! :)
